The primary objective of running a webinar with LCCI is to provide business development advice, support, and inspiration in the modern world of business today. Whilst LCCI’s webinar programme is a great way to raise your businesses profile, presentations must not form a sales pitch. The webinars are an opportunity for knowledge sharing.

LCCI members are invited to submit a webinar proposal form below. The proposal will be reviewed by the LCCI Events Team who will then follow up with you on the next steps.

Key Points:

  • Lead times are usually 3-4 months.
  • Hosted on GoToWebinar - Speaker(s) will need access to a PC / Mac with a microphone (preferably headphones) and a webcam.
  • Chaired by an LCCI representative.
  • 45-minutes long. LCCI will block out 1-hour to have a brief pre-meet on the platform.
  • LCCI webinars have an average of 50-60% non-attendance rate.
  • Recorded and made available on the LCCI website post event.
  • LCCI does not pay speaker fees.
  • If we do not reach a reasonable number of registrations, we may have to cancel or reschedule.
  • Unfortunately, LCCI cannot always proceed with webinar submissions. This can be due to saturation of a topic area or experience that a certain topic will not be of significant interest to generate the required level of registrations.

Webinar Format

  • Welcome from LCCI (3 minutes)
  • Speaker(s) presentation; usually accompanied by slides and sometimes with polls (30 minutes)
  • Audience Q&A session Chaired by LCCI (10 minutes)
