It’s a wrap!

After a very busy and successful year, the International Business team says goodbye to 2025 and is excited for what 2026 will bring!

Thank you to all the visitors, delegates and attendees who joined us throughout the year for the events, webinars and training courses we delivered in 2025; your participation and connection is much appreciated, and we hope we have helped your business develop and grow.

We also greatly thank all our event partners; this year we partnered with LCCI members and Patrons, UK Department for Business and Trade, foreign trade agencies and chambers to deliver more than 35 online and in-person international trade and business events, and 45 training courses, which hosted more than a thousand guests overall.

Highlights

Our programme covered, as ever, an eclectic mix of topics and themes, focussing on exciting developments such as the India Free Trade Agreement, the new EU-UK agreement, and insight into Funding and Collaboration Opportunities for UK businesses with EU Partners through Horizon Europe.

We addressed many current themes for businesses such as Digital Trade in Africa, International B2C eCommerce, CBAM, The Windsor Agreement and Supply Chain Management, to name just a few.

We took exporters to behind-the-scenes tours to two major ports: DP World London Gateway and Forth Ports, Port of Tilbury, to learn about their logistics operations and their impressive contributions to their local communities.

Providing access to insight and expertise is at the centre of what we do, we were delighted to hosted Roundtable Meetings with the UK government’s Deputy Trade Commissioner for Central & Eastern Europe, the lead Procurement Specialist from the Inter-American Development Bank, and Directors from Dubai Airport Free Zone.

Events around visiting business delegations created some exceptional networking opportunities. A trade and investment delegation led by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce in June, and the Saudia Arabian Construction Sector delegation, led by OCO Global were real highlights in our programme.

Finally, a big shout out to our trusted advisers International Trade Matters Ltd who, in addition to delivering webinars on a range of key topics also delivered our training courses. We are thrilled also that our ‘ATA Carnet – Your Passport for Goods’ proved to be the most popular course.

We hope you have enjoyed this quick look back at the year and we look forward to welcoming you to many more events in the coming year.  Please continue to engage with us and share your feedback and requests - your success is our success!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
