As our programme shapes up, we would be delighted to receive input from members into the key messaging around each of our policy asks on these topics. We are also keen to collaborate with and support members who are planning their own participation, as well as extend invitations to our events.

LCCI will be leading a delegation to the SME days at Labour (8 October) and Conservative (1 October) party conferences. These will provide an important opportunity to engage with leading policymakers and influencers on the policy solutions required to that tackle the pressing challenges faced by SMEs. The programmes include a lunch and various roundtable sessions, and will be attended by business leaders, start-ups, sole traders, freelancers and entrepreneurs.

If you are interested in attending the Conservative or Labour SME days, are planning to attend party conferences more generally, or have any specific policy queries for LCCI to raise at party conferences, please get in touch with LCCI’s Policy team to discuss this further – we look forward to hearing from you!
