Julia will bring her extensive knowledge of international agreements and law to the role of Chair of the LCCI board, providing invaluable expertise in issues of labour shortages and migration policy. LCCI is delighted to have Julia onboard.Commenting on her appointment Julia said: “I’m honoured to have been appointed as LCCI’s new Chair. This historic organisation has always been at the heart of London’s business community, its important role abundantly clear in the face of recent global and local economic challenges. As we enter a new chapter, I’m thrilled to work alongside the members of the Board to continue to invest in London’s thriving business community, creating greater opportunities and making the city even better for our residents, businesses and visitors.”

Richard Burge, Chief Executive of LCCI, also said: “I am so pleased to see Julia’s succession to Chair of the Board from the Deputy Chair and wholeheartedly look forward to working alongside her in this new role in the coming months and years. Julia will be a vital part of the work of LCCI going forward, putting us in the best possible position to continue to connect, champion and support our members.”
