Shaping tomorrow's Square Mile: Insights from property and construction networking event with CoL

The recent Property and Construction Networking and Briefing event, held on 14 November, provided a valuable platform for approximately 50 LCCI Members and selected guests. Hosted by Alderman Prem Goyal OBE, Founding Chair of the City of London Chamber and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee at the City of London Corporation, the event featured guest speaker Shravan Joshi MBE, Chairman of Planning and Transportation at the City of London Corporation.
Shravan Joshi MBE shared insights into the City of London Corporation's vision for the Square Mile, emphasising the ongoing debate between refurbishing and rebuilding. In the context of the post-pandemic recovery, he discussed the changing occupier base in the City and underscored the importance of creating a sustainable and thriving environment for businesses.
The informative session delved into strategies for future-proofing the Square Mile, aligning with the City of London Corporation's overarching goals. Attendees expressed satisfaction with the event, recognising the significance of such discussions in shaping the future of one of the world's leading financial districts.
